This blog is dedicated to the sublime instruments called nose flutes which produce the most divine sound ever.
We have chosen to discard all the native models from S. Pacific and Asia, for they need fingering to be played.
We'll concentrate on "buccal cavity driven" nose flutes :
the well patented and trademarked metal or plastic ones, plus,
by a condemnable indulgence, some wooden craft or home-made productions.

Let's start this letter off with some fan news: I just got an email from 13-year old Casey Brown that totally blew me away.
Casey has been building and playing cigar box guitars for just three years...
and he's already shredding like a true master (or perhaps a "king")!

4 -14 -13 / Some "DOLLAR TREE" and "99CENT ONLY" Stores currently have
5 foot lengths of 1" or more diameter bamboo with about 12-18" between nodes.
Good for a number of different instruments including...KAZOOZ !
Some of the internodes have enough of a taper to give them a slightly conical shape.
I want to try making some eunuch flutes of them.
